Will of Ann Clague alias Stole 1776-1 Lonan
This is affirmed to be the last will and Testament of Ann Clague als Stole of Laxey in the Parish of KK Lonnan who departed this Life on or abt. [1st] Feb’y 1776, She being then sick and weak in body but of perfect mind & memory at the making thereof.
First she committing her soul to God & body to Christian Burial.
And as to her worldly Effects she bequeathed them in manner following.
Imprimis She Left & bequeathed Ten shillings. a “---“ & stuff with a Cloak to her Daughter Jane Callow.
Item She Left Two Holy Days Gowns & a red Quilted Peticoat, another peticoat of [big wheel shift] with Twenty shillings to her Daughter Ellinor Brew with said twenty shillings her s’d Daughter Ellinor had in her own hands.
Item she Left a little wheel to her Grand Daughter Ellinor Brew Itm She Left a shift to her Grand Daughter Jane Brew Itm She Left two shifts with some of her caps to her s’d Daughter Ellinor Brew.
Item She Left a cap to her Grand Daughter Catherine Clague.
Item She Left a crown to her son John Clague. Lastly she revoking all other wills heretofore made, words or Intentions uttered Declared this to be her last will & Testament and nominated and appointed therein her Dutiful Daughter Ann Clague whole & sole Executrix of all the Rest of her Goods & Chattels both moveable & immoveable of what kind or nature soever.
